Whether you’re looking to swim in a waterfall or go on a challenging hike off the beaten path, there’s something on this list for you!

1. Diamond Falls

Just a 10 minute drive from Sulphur Springs, the Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens & Mineral Baths has one of the most picturesque waterfalls you won’t want to miss visiting.

This 55 foot tall colorful waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and tropical flora in the botanical gardens. Although you can’t swim under this waterfall, the botanical gardens has warm mineral baths you can take a dip in.

Entry fee to the gardens is $7 USD, and an additional $6 USD to swim in the mineral baths. Once you’re done exploring the gardens, make sure to stop by Fedo’s for local Caribbean cuisine. It’s open from 10 AM to 4 PM daily.

2. Piton Falls

Just minutes away from the Petit Mountain are the Piton Falls. This small waterfall has 3 mineral pools you can swim in, and has warm water heated by the nearby volcano.

The hiking trail has stairs so it’s very accessible, and it only takes a few minutes to reach the waterfall. Entry fee to the park is $3 USD, and there are changing rooms on site.

The Piton Falls are around a 10 minute drive from Project Chocolat, so they’re a great place to stop after a chocolate tour!

3. Toraille Waterfall

Less than a 5 minute drive from downtown Soufriere, the Toraille waterfall is one of the most popular waterfalls in St Lucia.

This scenic 50 foot tall waterfall has a small pool you can stand under for photos. If you’re looking for a waterfall to cool off under after hiking, this is the place to go.

Entry to the waterfall is $3 USD, and there are bathrooms and changing rooms on site.

Being that it’s the most popular waterfall, it’s best to visit early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid crowds. The waterfall is open everyday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Tip: Bring water shoes since the pool is surrounded by rocks.

4. Latille Waterfalls

The Latille Waterfalls and Botanical Gardens are a hidden gem on the eastern side of the island. The botanical gardens have a small waterfall, fish pond, and lots of beautiful tropical flora.

You can relax under the waterfall, get a fish pedicure from the pond, and purchase tamarind treats from the owner!

Keep in mind that they only accept EC$ (Eastern Caribbean dollars), so you’ll need to convert your currency if you plan on visiting. The entry fee is $20 EC, and they’re open from 8 AM to 5 PM daily.

5. Sault Falls

One of the most picture-worthy waterfalls in St Lucia are the Sault falls (also referred to as the Errand Falls or Dennery Falls).

These waterfalls are situated in the village of Dennery, on the eastern side of the island. This scenic 20 meter waterfall is in the middle of the rainforest so it’s surrounded by lush greenery.

If you’re looking for a waterfall off the beaten path, this hidden gem is worth visiting. Plus, there are no entrance fees!

6. Anse La Raye Waterfalls

Nestled in the rainforest, the Anse La Raye Waterfalls are beautiful waterfalls on the western side of the island. This small 15m waterfall cascades down rocks, and is surrounded by tropical fauna.

You can’t swim in the waterfalls since they’re an important water source for locals, but it’s a perfect place to stop by for a scenic hike.

7. Sapphire Falls and Jungle Spa

Just minutes away from the Soufriere volcano, the Sapphire Falls are breathtaking waterfalls nestled in the jungle.

It’s an easy 30 minute walk through the rainforest to reach the waterfalls, and it costs $25 USD to enter. If you plan on visiting, it’s best to book a guided tour so you can find the waterfalls.

The tours are led by friendly guides, and you’ll get to sample tropical fruit, get a volcanic mud facial, and soak in a mineral bath!

8. Jerusalem Mineral Baths

The Jerusalem Mineral Baths are serene mineral baths just minutes away from the Toraille waterfall and Diamond falls.

If you’re looking for a place to relax after a long day of hiking, this is the place to go. These are 3 large mineral baths with different temperatures in the middle of the jungle.

It’s a short hike to get to the pools, and there are bathrooms and changing rooms on site. Entry fee is $15 EC (Eastern Caribbean dollars) per person, and there’s a 1-hour time limit for staying in the pools.

9. En Baus Saut Trail

Nestled at the base of Mt. Gimie, The En Baus Saut Trail is a scenic rainforest hike to a hidden waterfall.

This moderately difficult hike has over 2000 steps to reach the base of the waterfall, and takes around 2 hours in total.

10. Bellevue Falls

Located on the south of the island near the town of Vieux Fort, the Bellevue Falls are another great waterfall to hike if you’re up for an adventure.

It’s a spectacular cascading waterfall with rivers, and a natural pool you can swim in. However, it’s a moderately challenging hike that takes nearly 1.5 hours to reach the waterfall (3 hours round trip)!
